Burying Beetle (Nicrophorus vespilloides)
This is a burying beetle. They are very quickly attracted to the smell of decaying animals and are major recyclers of animal corpses.
They are often covered in reddish-brown mites, that hitch a ride to the carcass (two can be seen on the image).
