Church St. Coloman

During my trip through the Alps, Bavaria was the last destination. My intention was to photograph Neuschwanstein Castle at sunset, from the bridge, my surprise was when I saw that public access was prohibited due to anticovid measures, I did not hesitate to go down without wasting time and resort to making the sunset in the famous Church St. Coloman's, a baroque-style church located near the castle, at the foot of the Schwangau Mountains and built in honor of the Irish pilgrim St. Coloman who during his pilgrimage to the holy land in 1012 made a stop at this very spot.

This image is a blend of several shots, from capturing the last lights entering from the right between the mountains, the sky that finally exploded with color and finally getting the necessary shots to be able to eliminate the people and cars that were in the place.

 

Durante mi viaje por los Alpes, Baviera fue el último destino. Mi intención era fotografíar el Castillo de Neuschwanstein al atardecer, desde el puente, mi sorpresa fue al ver que estaba prohibido el acceso al público por las medidas anticovid, no dudé en bajar sin perder el tiempo y recurrir a realizar el atardecer en la famosa Iglesia de St.Coloman, una iglesia de estilo barroco situada cerca del castillo, a los pies de las montañas Schwangau y construida en honor al peregrino Irlandes St. Coloman que durante su peregrinaje a tierra santa en 1012 hizo una parada en este mismo lugar.

Esta imagen es un blendig de varias tomas, desde capturar las últimas luces entrando por la derecha entre las montañas, el cielo que finalmente explotó de color y por último conseguir las tomas necesarias para poder eliminar la gente y coches que se encontraban en el lugar.
