Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides) - Point Roberts, WA

My mom loved Bluebirds. Today I got to see 7 on the same beach that I stood and watched one with her a few years ago. I feel my mom who passed away 2 years ago sent these beauties to me today and was there watching them with me. I also got to watch a beautiful Gray Whale off shore so it was a pretty magical day.
