Southern Giant-Petrel - Rio Grande, AR

I saw an incredible sight in Rio Grande! There was 120 Southern Giant-Petrel in close to the beach and they were fishing and bathing. The Southern Giant-Petrel is an extremely aggressive bird and will kill other seabirds usually penguin chicks, sick or injured adult penguins. They also kill adult Albatrosses and Gannets and kill them by drowning them.
