Austral Parakeet (Enicognathus ferrugineus) - Perito Moreno Glacier, AR

The austral parakeet is the southernmost of all parrots in the world. I was happy to see two flocks of these birds in Patagonia. This was taken near the impressive and stunning huge Perito Moreno Glacier outside of El Calafate in Argentina.
