Black Phoebe (Sayornis nigricans) - Mt. Vernon, WA

I only saw 1 of the 2 Black Phoebes currently present at Wylie Slough. These birds have successfully had 2 broods. I think this species will soon have confirmed breeding in BC; especially with the continued warming of our planet. Wylie Slough had some rare birds today including a Northern Waterthrush and Lesser Yellowlegs.
