Record shot of a Winter Wren (Troglodytes hiemalis) - Colwood, BC

This bird was first found by my friend Ian Cruickshank yesterday at Ford Rodd Hill Lighthouse. I relocated it today at 1:30 pm in the same spot. It made it's Song Sparrow like call which you can hear here on the video I made by clicking this link:

This is the first record for Vancouver Island. Any Winter Wren record is rare in southern BC but especially in winter.
