Olympic Chipmunk (Tamias amoenus caurinus) - Port Angeles, WA

Watching these endemic Olympic Chipmunks for the first time was special. These Chipmunks are found only in the Olympic Peninsula at high elevations. They are very curious and fun like the Yellow-pine Chipmunks I normally see back home. This Naional Park is so special for all the endemic and rare animals and birds it holds.
