White-morph Reddish Egret (Egretta rufescens) - Rockport, TX
In Texas it was my first time seeing a white morph Reddish Egret. I had only seen the more regular dark- morph before. Both are beautiful. This guy is a juvenile white-morph. I was lucky to see an adult white-morph as well at South Padre Island. I absolutely loved watching them dance as they hunted for fish. No other heron hunts in such a cool manner.
