Dunlin (Calidris alpina) - Point Roberts, WA

Way to stand out in a crowd. He was the only Dunlin in the large Sanderling flock that day. He was also in faded breeding plumage. They are one attractive sandpiper especially in breeding plumage. This image was taken at Lighthouse Park.
