Tufted Puffin (Fratercula cirrhata) - Smith Island, WA

We saw 20 of these beautiful birds in breeding plumage near the colony at Smith Island. As we headed towards Lopez Island we also found 2 surprises a Long-tailed Jaeger and an Ancient Murrelet. This bird is endangered in Washington.
