Red Fox Kit (Vulpes vulpes) - Washington State

I loved his open mouthed look here ;-)

 

Today I had a moving experience with some fox kits. This is a series of one curious little kit who ran right up to me. It was fun to watch him eat a rabbit that his mother brought to him and play with his siblings. Today I saw 3 adults and 5 kits.
