Red-throated Loon (Gavia stellata) - Ocean Shores, WA

I was simply amazed to see this beautiful loon so close into shore. He was promptly joined by 6 of his buddies!

 

Taken at Ohyut game range on my trip to see the rare Lesser Sand Plover.
