Heermann's Gull
Visitor on migration on the shores of point roberts.
These red billed gulls are the only North American gull to breed in Mexico. After breeding they head up as far as the southern bc border where they spend their winters and they head down in December to the Mexican islands to begin nesting around March.
The total world population breeds on one island, Isla Raza in Mexico.
It loves to steal food from the brown pelican and coincides it's migration based on this.
