Rishikesh is a small settlement in the northern state of Uttarakhand which has been a magnet for spiritual seekers ever since the Beatles rocked up at the ashram of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the late ‘60s. Today, it is well – known as the World Capital of Yoga with masses of ashrams.
