Yu_Eddie Street Photography#3

I was walking down Mason& Market Street and saw smokes coming out of a drain in between the crosswalk. Immediately, I spotted a good model and asked if she could pose for my shot. She agreed and said she needed to go immediately afterward. I saw the chance and took a shot of her. I took the photograph the way it is composed because I wanted to capture the model and the smoke in the photo without revealing the drain. The photograph is interesting because it looks like the smoke is actually coming out of the model like a dragon. The emotion/feeling I am trying to convey in the photograph is playfulness. The model looked like a happy individual who was full of energy and was eager to play/ highly spirited. The setting I chose to use for the shot was of an aperture f/8 because I wanted everything in the shot to be sharp and in focus to emphasize the possibility and the idea of street photography. As a matter of fact, I had to choose a shutter speed of 1/160 to correctly compensate the aperture.
