No. 2582 Sir Hugo nearing Potters Bar in 1938 with an up express for Kings Cross. Built in December 1924 with right hand drive, it was reboilered as an A3 in December 1941 and converted to left hand drive in September 1952. It spent its life shedded in the North East and was withdrawn from Gateshead in May 1964. A colourised b/w taken by Lewis Coles.
