Gateshead A4.

60016 Silver King has just arrived at Edinburgh Waverley with the 07.52 from Newcastle Tyne Commision Quay on 22 July 1963. One of the first four A4s built in 1935 specifically for the new "Silver Jubilee" streamlined train, it spent virtually its entire life shedded in the North East, but was moved to Aberdeen Ferryhill in November 1963 from where it was withdrawn in March 1965.
