Evolution of the construction of Odin, Terran battle mech from the Starcraft Universe !

 

At the centre of the picture, current status of Odin. It isn't yet finished, and because I'm currently doing an intership abroad, construction will be finished in 6 months... Yeah, that's quite a long time !!!!

 

Around the centre, some pictures which show evolution of the MOC. Status is shown in a circle, beginnign is at the upper left.

 

Picture 1: the gearbox I initially built for canons deployment and firing mechanism.

 

Picture 2: first version of body and legs.

 

Picture 3: second version of the legs.

 

Picture 4 : Third version of the body.

 

Picture 5: Third version of legs.

 

Pictures 6, 7 and 8: adding some details: antenna, close-in grenades launchers, canons superstucture and legs stabilizers.

 

Picture 9 and 10: cockpit added, added some armor plates and fourth version of legs.

 

Pictures 11,12, 13, 14 and 15: Reinforcing legs, adding armors plates and new pelvis.

 

Pictures 16 and centre picture: new pelvis (again !), some change on legs, more armor plates added, reinforcing, 6 LEDs integrated in the body instead of the two front lamps.

Scale with a Marine, a Goliath, and a little preview of the upcoming Banshee !!! ;)

 

N.B : All my Starcraft MOCs are minifig-scale, imagine yourself as a Marine next to the Odin ! :)
