Physical Description: Valerie is a tall woman, with an athletic build. she wears her hair usually either down and free, flowing to the middle of her back, or in a low ponytail if needed. she wears normally a white tanktop with old worn ripped blue jeans, and an old black leather jacket over top. she wears a lot of metal jewelery, and her nails are always painted black.

Her skin is a soft light tan, with no imperfections.

 

Personality: "What she knows how to do, she's really good at. But what she doesn't, really shows."

 

Her father said this about Valerie when she was young, and it holds true to this way. Of the powers she has, she is master to only one, her healing factor, and she believes that is only because she's never had to think about it. She uses her other powers as if they're always new, and is always surprised if they work properly for her.

 

Valerie doesn't have much conifdence in herself, and sees herself more as an inbetween, too off to be human, but not enough to be a real mutant.

 

She talks like she knows so much, and has experienced so much, but her eyes always betray some innocence deep inside. She's always smiling, but not a happy smile, a more, sarcastic sneer.

 

History: Not much is known about Valerie's history. She was born in England, and moved to Canada at a young age withher family. she lived there long enough to lose most of her british accent. Some time after she discovered her powers, she migrated yet again, this time to the US. She's said she's worked for the military before, and has been over to afganistan, and Iraq.

 

She was there during the actions of M-Day, which put her back in the US, working for the X-Men. She was happy, she felt fufilled,and she was in control of all of her powers. When she awaoke from what she found out to be just an illusion, she was dissatisfied. She'd felt real happiness, and wanted more.

 

So Valerie decided to leave the military, and find these ... X-Men.
