Last time to Weixsdorf
On June 3rd Dresden said a final (?) goodbye to the Tatra T4 trams. The Czech classics were first "retired" 13 years ago but due to constant tram shortages were held in reserve. However, with enough new trams on hand and the upcoming requirements for barrier free requirements the DVB decided in 2023 to finally retire the remaining fleet. To say farewell a big ceremony was arranged with T4s operating to the far extents of the system. here one of the first trips of the day has reached the Weixersdorf halt and is now headed back into the city.
