Into the lavafields

The meter gauge Ferrovia Circumetnea operates as the name suggests in a circle around the Etna volcano in Sicily. While unfortunately locomotive hauled trains have been gone since the steam era the railway still operates a fleet of mostly 1970s era Fiat railcars. One of the older examples, ADE 17 is seen here approaching the lavafields at Bronte with a Catania bound service.
