St. Wenceslas Crown

St. Wenceslas Crown is the most important part of the Czech Crown Jewels, kept at Prague Castle. It was made in 1347 for the coronation of Charles IV, who later became Holy Roman Emperor. The crown is crafted from pure gold and decorated with precious stones such as sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and pearls. Traditionally, it was used for the coronation of Bohemian kings, and it is closely linked to St. Wenceslas, the patron saint of the Czech lands.
