Inca wood Keros

The keros were chicha glasses. Their particular shape distinguishes them from all other containers and their use dates back to ancient times. This wooden Inca keros is decorated with carved herringbone and triangular motifs and also features a small carved figure of a feline and a lizard, an animal whose symbolism refers to the connection between the worlds.
