Andean impressionism

Above 4000 m altitude, the lagoons and other water points of the Altiplano are often frozen. Gilded by the light of the rising sun, the reflections of the mountains on the surface of the partially frozen water produce a magnificent, almost abstract picture pattern. (Atacama desert, Chile)
