Macro Mondays - Crystal
Amethyst Crystal, I had to use this for this weeks theme, purple is my favourite colour and I just love gemstones. I have always had an interest in gemstones, I find it quite amazing what our gorgeous planet can create beneath its surface. Nobody in my family has an interest in gemstones and I have always wondered where my interest came from, my love of photography I got from my father and I literally only found out last week my Opa use to like collecting gemstones as well, my dad was telling me when he was a little boy growing up in Germany he would go into my Opa's study and look at the stones and Opa would get very angry with him for touching them. Amazing how things can pass down the family lineage without even knowing.
