Head of Glencoe
I've just been looking through some of the images of a very memorable three days in the Scottish Highlands in February this year. This was taken from high up on Beinn a Chrulaiste looking north west along the A82 as it snakes along towards Glencoe. We'd got up early to catch the sunrise over Buachaille Etive Mor, the shoulder of which is on the left of this image. Beneath us is the long distance West Highland Way footpath which turns right and climbs away from the roadside via the Devil's Staircase jump behind that clump of trees. We returned and completed the West Highland Way in May.
It was a truly uplifting experience with perfect conditions; a memory that will live with us forever.
