Supercell

I'm finding it difficult to put a technical name on the appendage below this cumulonimbus cloud in Western Colorado. When looked at up close there did appear to be a twist in the shape of the narrow section of the funnel just below the base of the classic cumulonimbus but the flow and rotation were not particularly obvious or dramatic. A local meteorologist I consulted did put the term "supercell" on this scene. This occured early in the morning. The moisture source was the remnants of port-tropical storm Ileana.
