Mod-2 niceBBPD

In addition to Mod-1, a 20 Ohm series resistor is added before the inductor in the DC path (to stop the current leakage). The 8.2pF feedback capacitor was replaced with a 3pF version, and the trans impedance gain reduced from 3k to 1.5k. Also the InGaAs diode bias voltage was increased from 9V to 15V (which is the max).

 

- full bandwidth ~51 MHz

- PD capacitance is ~20pF
