60s Dodge Little Red Wagon
The Dodge Little Red Wagon is to the forward control truck era what Herbie is to the Beetle and what the Bandit is to Trans-Am: an icon!
I discovered this beast back when I was 6 as my dad built a model kit of this wheel stander. Later I bought a dragster magazine (that I still have today!) that had an article about it and its driver, Bill "Maverick" Golden. Basically, it was among the first cars to pop a wheelie down the drag strip at blazing speeds on the edge of wiping out, which it did a few times!
There have been a few different wagons, from 1964 to a recent resurrection. My build represents an amalgam of the different models.
