The Battle Between Spring and Winter
If you said this looks like a beautiful 70 degree Fahrenheit day (I know silly non-metric measurement system), you would be right. If you said this looked like a frigid, below freezing day, you would be correct as well. At sunrise, not only was it freezing, but the wind coming off this lake from the direction I was facing was nasty. So much so it was causing a strange reverberating vibration in the tripod. I was literally holding two tripod legs still with my knees and the other with my free hand while triggering the shutter with an IR remote. Guess I need one of those monster tripods. Oh well, by afternoon I was in shorts and a T-shirt, driving with the top down, and generally enjoying not freezing my extremities off. Such is Wisconsin weather.
