Instead of the separate HOT box, computerized control stands have the information displayed on screen. In this instance there is no communication between FRED and the HOT. In the far upper left are three stars indicating no reading of brake pipe pressure on the rea. Last Car would be the number of FRED. RF No Comm means no rear to front communication between FRED and the HOT. This particular display is on the display of an SD70MAC locomotive.
