Fusion Challenge: Sand, Beach
My first time playing along with the Fusion Card Challenge fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2017/07/fusion-sand-beac.... Summertime means my 2 nieces are at sleepaway camp and I try to send them each a card every week. The background is Impression Obsession's Wooden Plank cover-a-card. I was inspired by a very old (May 2014) SU color combo which I translated into PTI's Melon Berry, Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss, and Hawaiian Shores. The sentiments are from one of my favorite sets -- Altenew's Label Love. I subbed PTI's Harvest Gold for the Lemon Tart which was too faint for the sentiment. Cardstock is all PTI: a strip of Melon Berry cardstock along the edge, and it's all mounted on Stamper's Select white.
I finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear mix sequins. This one is the first card going to my almost 12-year-old niece at camp and I hope she'll like it. Thanks for looking!
