Hello with Zigs

I don't often use my 6x6 red rubber background stamps and wanted to try a spotlighting technique in a card for one of my best friends. This card took several days to come together but I'm very happy with its sparkly look.

Here I used MFT's Floral Fantasy background stamp and inked it in Versafine Onyx. I chose one of the flowers and colored it, some leaves, and the swirly bits with some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. After it dried I went back with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bright Gold and sent a line up each of the orange swirly tendrils, with a dot in the center of the flower. Then my mojo went away and I wasn't sure what to do with it next ....

I cut 5 words from PTI's Wet Paint dies and adhered them together with some dots from a Zig glue pen -- the one that comes out blue. Trimmed the panel and adhered a strip of gold glitter tape to the bottom. I stamped the word Friend from Wet Paint in Versafine Onyx on a scrap of PTI Winter Wisteria cardstock. The whole thing went on PTI's True Black cardstock, and I used a gold Sharpie to write inside so I didn't need a piece of white cardstock.

As a bonus, I've used this background stamp for the first time and can record in my Use It or Lose It personal challenge spreadsheet. Thanks for looking!
