Northern shoveler are in heat. It is common to see two males fighting over a female. They are continually changing places, making in-flight photos easier to get.
Los patos cuchara andan en esta época en celo. Es común ver a dos machos pelearse por una hembra. Están contínuamente cambiando de lugar, por lo que las fotografías en vuelo son más fáciles de conseguir.
