The Asian hornet (Vespa velutina) has attacked the grapes this year for the first time. The damage has been big and fast. All in less than a week, just when the grapes were close to mature fully.
The wasp sits on the grapes and grape touch with their antennae. With its jaws test cut the skin of the grape. When it finds a softer (more mature) grain achieve their jaws tear the skin of the grape.
At that time it feeds on the juice, as seen in this photograph.
The wasp does not end with the grain and then fly for another.
Wounds are attract other insects (flies, hover flies, etc.), fungi and bacteria spread. At the end bunches dried.

La avispa asiática (Vespa velutina) ha atacado a las uvas este año por primera vez. Los daños han sido grandes y rápidos. Todo en menos de una semana, justo cuando los granos de uva estaban cerca de madurar totalmente.
La avispa se posa en los granos de uva y toca la uva con sus antenas. Con sus mandíbulas prueba a cortar la piel de la uva. Cuando encuentra un grano más blando (más maduro) sus mandíbulas logran rasgar la piel de la uva.
En ese momento se alimenta del zumo, tal y como se ve en esta fotografía.
La avispa no acaba con ese grano y seguidamente vuela en busca de otro.
Las heridas son atraen a otros insectos (moscas, sírfidos, etc.), los hongos y bacterias se extienden. Al final los racimos se secan.
