Badgerline meets Stagecoach, Alton 2013
Classic Bus and Country Pub Running Day 20 July 2013. Former Badgerline DHW351W is a 1981 Bristol VRT/ECW new to Bristol Omnibus as 5529 with a Leyland engine but re-engined with a Gardner unit and reseated with coach seats before passing to Badgerline in January 1986, retuning to Bristol Omnibus in 1996. It passed to a dealer in 1998 and then into preservation in 2002. In 2012 it gained Badgerline Swift Link livery as seen here but in 2016 it was repainted to NBC red with Swindon & District fleetnames. It is seen here at Alton station passing Stagecoach South 18191 (MX54LPY), a 2004 Alexander Dennis Trident with ALX400 body which was laying over (I think) on route 38 from Portsmouth. In 2022 the bus is in the fleet of Stagecoach East Midlands (Lincolnshire Road Car).
