Sunday 17 July 2022 sees the return of the Alton Bus Rally, based on Anstey Park. This is a view from the 2018 event. From 1985, Economic services between South Shields and Sunderland were operated by Tyne & Wear PTE, later becoming part of the Stagecoach Busways operation. This 1969 Bristol RELL6L with ECW body was new to Leicester Corporation and reached the north-east via a spell at Ipswich Corporation.
