British Rail electric unit 485042 Brading (#11863)
On 6 August 1984 5-car unit 485042 rolls into Brading. The second car is blue/grey but the remainder are in Network SouthEast colours. At this time the fleet had been reorganised to comprise five 5-car and two 2-car units. This former London Underground stock dating from 1923-31 was brought to the Island for the new electric service which commenced in 1967.
