AYG941H British Rail (ex-West Yorkshire) Chart Leacon
This bus (AYG941H) was new to West Yorkshire as VR40 (later 1940) in August 1969. By August 1982 it was in use by British Rail as a Plant & Machinery training vehicle and was seen in this guide at an Open Day at Chart Leacon Depot, Ashford on 14 August 1982. BR sold it in 1992 and it passed through a couple more owners before reaching Chepstow Classic by September 2001, but in 2019 it passed to a preservationist as a source of spares.
