DB 169 005-6 Murnau
169 005 was withdrawn on 24 September 1981, just a couple of weeks after this shot was taken of the loco stabled at Murnau. It is now owned by the Bayerische Localbahn Verein and is has worked special trains since 2002. This Maffei-built loco entered service on 1 April 1930 as LAG5 and was longer and more powerful than her sisters. She originally worked off 1000V AC current.
