The classic view at Hoek van Holland with NS loco 1316 (Alsthom, 1956) at the head of (probably) the Rhein Express on 24 May 1984. The SMZ ferry "Prinses Beatrix" was built in 1978 and was the Dutch flagship on the route to Harwich; she has just worked the overnight service from the Essex port.
