314:366-November 9-We Remember
I must admit I had been wondering just where I would get my poppy this year. I hadn't seen many people selling them and I didn't feel I wanted to put money into one of the boxes that are around as often they get nicked. Then, on FB, I saw a photo of a friend of mine selling in one of the local shops. Sorted. I was able to pop down, make a donation and know that it would get to where it was intended. But on reflection what a sad state of affairs when we have to worry about someone stealing the poppy money box. It is just wrong on so many levels.
