When I finished driving the school bus a couple of years ago, Evan (one of my students) was upset, as he said I wouldn't be able to see him graduate. So I made him a promise. When his graduation day came I would be there. Well today I stood amongst the crowds and proudly watched as this fine young man walked down the red carpet with his escort Erica.
Congratulations Evan! You have brought joy to so many peoples lives and I know the future will hold wonderful things for you. Oh and I will let you in on a little secret. I cried, just like I told you I would.
