Dreams of Distand Shores

Do we not all dream of distant shores? Of winged ships bound for shining lands?

 

I hope that you all are enjoying Fantasy Faire as much as I am! While the shopping and the dancing and the performances and the role playing is all amazing, I think that I most love the feeling of coming together. Yeah, we love all those other things, we shop ourselves silly, we party far too late in the night... but we're all 'ohana here, we're all family. We're all here to stop the Unweaver, we all dare to dream of a world without cancer.

 

ANYWAY..... I found this lovely outfit from Tamiron Forge at Faire, and while it's different from my normal fae wear, it's really lovely. I would totally wear this in RL -- it just looks comfy, and how can you not love the colours? It's Ylona, and it comes in three pieces -- top with belt, pants, and boots with leg wraps. And they're absolutely gorgeous.

 

So is it likely that I find my favourite Fantasy Faire treasure only a couple days into Faire? I found the new Fairy Wings from Aii & Ego, and I've hardly taken them off. You may have seen me with their Starfire angel wings -- these are just as amazing. They have a beautiful texture hud with MANY preset textures, but also the capability to set different textures for different wing components. Not only that, but allows you to set RGB tinting for those individual components, set gloss, environmental, glow, and alpha values for each of those components, separately. I mean, what CAN'T YOU DO? I love love love these, and you'll be seeing them again here!

 

 

And as always, please please please, whatever you do, whatever makes you happy, come to Fantasy Faire and share the love, and share your lindens to help put an end to cancer. There are better distant shores, and we can get there through our hard work.
