flowers of spring

Turn from the cold and the wind into light. Spring is coming... warmth and growth and flowers, the scent of wet loam, of life ready to burst forth into song.

 

A few pictures that I took months ago that I never posted here on flickr. I found the most wonderful separates that just cried out “boho/gypsy chic” to me. A little mix-and-match and you’ve got a look that is perfect for role play… or for every day. Well, every day for me, anyway!

 

I don’t know about you, but I find that working with separates can definitely be more challenging — I tend to forget what separates I have in my wardrobe, and finding pieces that go together can be very hit-or-miss. But it’s very exciting when it does, and creates a look that is very unique to the individual.
