The mighty Fraser

While shooting the massive BC Rail bridge in Lillooet isn’t in the cards anymore CN and CP still have some impressive bridges over the Fraser River. Just 40 miles southeast of Lillooet, immediately west of the confluence of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers in Lytton the CN line crosses the Fraser on a large deck truss bridge. Sadly very little remains of the Town of Lytton after most of it was destroyed by a large wildfire in 2021. A westbound CN coal train is crossing the bridge, next stop Boston Bar for a crew change.
