Morning Run
After chasing a New Hampshire Northcoast shuttle down to Rochester last week and only getting a couple sunny shots, I decided to give it another go this Thursday. The leased FURX unit was spending an infrequent stint in the shop at Ossipee promising an all green consist. Trailing the three NHN units were 18 loads of sand for Tri City, 3 empty steel cars and the company caboose/business car. The empty steel cars would be left at Tri City for forwarding to Dover on Friday. After unloading the sand, they would use the caboose as a riding car as the train shoved north to Hayes where the power would run around the train before heading back to Ossipee. The morning train gave the rare chance to get sun on the east side of the tracks at Union Meadows.
