Running out of sun

As Pan Am Railways POED (Portland, ME to East Deerfield, MA) prepared to leave Rigby it seemed like the sun was starting to overtake the clouds. Unfortunatley a few minutes after this shot, the sun disappeared for good. Since the train was headed the right way, I chased them back towards home in the doom and gloom. The railroad's only painted C40-8 seems to lead consistently wherever it goes which is a nice catch compared to the rest of the patched GE fleet. The LED headlights are really tough to shoot on the straight on tele's. The four unit consist was a pair of C40-8's, a B40-8 and for old time's sake a Big G GP40. The train is just out of Rigby Yard at the lead to the Gillies & Prittie lumber distribution center and New England Public Warehouse. On the right side of the frame is a cut off support for a B&M signal bridge that was standing (minus signals) up until recently. At least the foliage is FINALLY starting to change in Southern Maine and New Hampshire.
