Anything is possible

The Saturday and Sunday only Pan Am Railways train WAAY (Waterville, Maine to Ayer, Massachusetts) Poland Springs water train provides the somewhat rare oportunity to shoot a daylight westbound in District 2. With the new ex CSX C40-8's staying mostly west of Rigby Yard the train is also the best opportunity to get all PAR/GRS painted units on the B&M. This Saturday's water train was a special treat with the railroad's business train power in the consist. The SD45-2 carbody SD40-2, FP9, SD45-2 carbody SD40-2, FP9, GP40-2LW consist was definitely the wildest all EMD/GMD consist I've seen. Both f-units were working power. With the sunny forecast and interesting consist, LARGE crowds came out for this one making it quite difficult to get any unique shots. The train is passing the westward home signals for CPF JK in Lawrence behind the Market Basket grocery store chain warehouse.
